ANCHORAGE, AK- Northrim’s commitment to Superior Customer First Service extends to serving the community - from the financial resources of the Bank to the time and talents of its employees. Northrim continued its tradition of giving back in 2024 and provided community support through financial contributions and volunteerism.

Northrim employees continued their generous spirit by participating in the annual United Way Campaign and raised over $162,000 in support of local communities throughout Alaska. This total includes direct donations from employees and Northrim Bank’s fifty percent match for employee gifts to United Way. The 2024 campaign was the highest total raised in Northrim’s 34-year history.

Bank employees gave generously of their time and supported organizations that were near and dear to their hearts. “Northrim employees are dedicated to supporting their local community and their commitment to volunteering shows that dedication,” said Mike Huston, Northrim Bank President. During 2024, Northrim employees volunteered over 3,800 hours in their local communities.

In addition to the generosity by employees, Northrim Bank also contributes a substantial amount to support Alaska organizations. Each year, Northrim focuses its corporate giving on organizations that help in community and economic development, programs to strengthen low income families and higher education. During 2024, Northrim Bank contributed over $1,065,000 to organizations throughout Alaska.

In 2025 Northrim employees, the Board of Directors and executive leadership will celebrate the Bank’s 35th anniversary. As throughout its history, Northrim will continue to support local communities and work with its customers to ensure that Alaskans thrive.
